1. Music Education Major
This major cultivates graduates who possess a passion for education and a dedication to the field of music education. Aligned with the needs of the national “Belt and Road” initiative, the program serves the development of basic education and social music culture inthe Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Students acquire a solid foundation in music education theory, basic music theory and performance skills, graduating with the ability to teach music in school classrooms, conduct educational research, and manage classroom groups. Furthermore, they are capable of organizing extra curricularmusic activities, fostering campus culture, and engaging in community music initiatives. Beyond practical skills, graduates also develop a keen awareness of cross-cultural communication and preliminary capabilities for international music education exchange. Demonstrating a strong sense of professional responsibility, they are prepared to serve as applied music education professionals across schools, cultural centers, performing arts groups, labor unions,communities, and other relevant sectors.
