1. School Department Setting
The School of Management currently comprises the Department of Accounting and Auditing, the Department of Business Administration, and the Department of Data Science and Finance.
2. Overview of Faculty and Students
The school boasts a high-caliber faculty teamwith extensive teaching experience and outstanding research capabilities, comprising both full-time and part-time teachers. Currently, there are 60 full-time faculty members, including 10 professors (17%), 11 associate professors (18%), and 15 faculty members with doctoral degrees (25%); 39 dual-qualified teachers (65%); 21 bilingual faculty members, accounting for 35%; 1 foreign faculty member recognized as a Category A High-Level Foreign Talent by the Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs of Guangzhou; 1 recipient of the “Outstanding Worker of Nanyue” award; 3 recipients of the “Outstanding Teacher of Nanyue” award; and 4 recipients of the “Outstanding Teacher in Guangdong’s Private Education” award. Additionally, the School of Management has appointed more than 20 renowned university professors and industry leaders as visiting professors to participate in teaching and program development. The school currently has approximately 2,400 students.

Adhering to the educational philosophy of “cultivating virtue and nurturing talent, with a focus on students’ future growth” and the talent development model of “broad foundational knowledge, specialized expertise, strong foreign language skills, and a focus on practical application,” the school vigorously promotes the multidisciplinary integration of “major+ foreign language + information technology.” By aligning with the needs of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Guangdong Province, and the nation as a whole, the school cultivates high-quality, application-oriented professionals equipped with a distinct foreign language proficiency and outstanding practical skills tailored to contemporary economic demands.
With discipline development as the driving force and the construction of nationally first-class majors as the focal point, the school strengthens scientific research and educational reform while deepening university-industry collaboration. The school currently hosts one provincial-level research base and two provincial-level research teams: the Guangdong Provincial Key Research Base for Humanities and Social Sciences in General Higher Education Institutions—“Research Base for Digital Development and Management Innovation in Guangdong’s Service Industry,” the “Research Team on Digital-Physical Integration and Management Innovation,” and the “Research Team on Integrated Innovation and Development in the Exhibition Industry.” The school currently has three provincial-level teaching teams: Marketing Teaching Team, Accounting InformatizationTeaching Team, and Teaching Team of Accounting Major Courses. Duringthe 14th Five-Year Plan period, faculty members secured approval forone national-level first-class course and three provincial-level first-class courses; they led a total of 25 teaching and researchprojects at the municipal or higher level; and published 137 academicpapers in domestic and international journals, including 66 corejournal articles. The school has secured one provincial-level Teaching Achievement Award development project and established 21high-quality collaborative education internship bases.
The school places great emphasis on cultivating students’ practical skills, innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities, and foreign language proficiency. It has established innovation and entrepreneurship teams and academic competition teams, and organizeda wide variety of extracurricular activities. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, students won awards in provincial and national competitions on more than 200 occasions, securing 83 accolades listedin the Ministry of Education’s competition directory; the school also secured 31 provincial-level “Major Innovation and Entrepreneurship” projects and 13 national-level projects, and published 21 academic papers in relevant journals. Many outstanding alumni hold positions at world-renowned companies such as KPMG, P&G, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, and the Four Seasons Hotel. Over 100 students have been admitted to graduate programs at prestigious domestic and international universities, with the proportion of students pursuing domestic graduate studies gradually increasing over the past three years.
