The undergraduate Finance program has a 16-year history since its establishment in 2010. As one of the university’s earliest major programs, it has graduated over 3,000 students to date. Finance is designated as a Guangdong Provincial Comprehensive Reform Pilot Major, a Guangdong Provincial Characteristic Major, and a university-level First-Class Major; the Finance discipline is a university-level Key Discipline and a cultivation base for professional master’s degrees.
This program aims to cultivate well-rounded, application-oriented financial professionals with a solid foundation in financial theory, strong digital finance application skills, an international perspective, proficiency in foreign languages, and practical financial expertise. Graduates are qualified to work infinancial regulatory agencies, fintech departments, financial data analysis units, as well as financial institutions such as banks, securities firms, insurance companies, and fund management firms.
