主要致力于采用计算建模方法，探究人类认知与情绪情感机制，并基于数理模型探索心理健康教育与临床干预的优化策略。目前参与国家科技创新2030-“脑科学与类脑研究”重大项目子课题1项，并曾主持广东省自然科学基金面上项目1项，作为骨干成员参与国家及广东省自然科学基金面上项目各1项，参与科技部国家重点研发计划重点专项子课题3项，发表中、英文学术期刊论文20余篇。兼任中国老年学和老年医学学会脑认知与健康分委会委员、广东省认知科学学会理事，以及Science Advances、Age and Ageing、BMC Psychology、Brain and Behavior、Frontiers in Psychology期刊审稿人。
