SCBC Introduces Innovative Admission Publicity Strategies

On the afternoon of November 6, SCBC held the launch meeting for the “SCBC Multilingual Integrated Media Admission Project” in the International Academic Lecture Hall. The meeting formally introduced a new admission initiative centered on “language + major + scenario-based” content. This approach aims to enhance the appeal and influence of SCBC's admission outreach by establishing integrated media anchor teams at both the university and department levels. These teams will create a series of engaging short videos showcasing SCBC's distinctive features. Vice Presidents ZengYongqiang and Lai Zhili, along with heads of relevant schools and departments, as well as student representatives from the multilingual integrated media project attended the meeting.

Lai Zhili delivered remarks at the launch ceremony. He emphasized that while consolidating existing channels, SCBC must actively expand into new media platforms, particularly through short videos, to maximize promotional effectiveness. Multilingual integrated media admission publicity represents a crucial initiative for advancing internationalization and enhancing student quality. He urged all departments to collaborate closely, fully leveraging the creativity and dynamism of student teams to build a distinctive SCBC admissions brand.

Zeng Yongqiang noted that adopting integrated media for admissions promotion represents a highly valuable innovative direction. Success hinges on mastering “two attractions”: First, effectively mobilizing department and student multimedia teams with incentives such as awards and innovation projects to stimulate their enthusiasm and creativity; Second, refining short video production techniques to tell compelling, vivid stories about SCBC, targeting prospective applicants while showcasing our educational strengths and achievements. He recommended establishing a professional advisory team to provide technical and creative guidance to students.

Lai Zhili concluded: Asprimary publicity platforms, SCBC's official website and department sub-sites must further enrich content and update visuals. Simultaneously, collaboration with mainstream media should be strengthened, leveraging their official credibility to endorse the university's publicity efforts and achieve mutual success through diverse partnerships.
