Submission Information

· Abstract length: Maximum 200-300 words
· All accepted paper proposals will be confirmed in the PROMS official Acceptance Letter via email.
· Submission deadline by: 31st June 2026
· Notification of acceptance by: 10th July 2026
· Early-bird registration deadline by: 10th June 2026
· Registration and payment deadline by: 27th July 2026
Conference Theme
The Pacific-Rim Objective Measurement Symposium (PROMS) 2026 annual conference invites proposals exploring Measurement and Rasch Measurement Approaches and Technologies in the Age of AI: Frontiers, Advances and Developments.
The theme encourages how Measurement and Rasch measurement, once integrated with AI, can be further applied in different research fields, particularly in social and humanity studies with data.
Sub-Themes
We also invite submissions addressing, but not limited to, the Rasch-based or Rasch-related sub-themes as follows:

lSports and Measurement
lAdministration and Measurement
lMeasurement in social and economical studies
lMeasurement in educational and psychological studies
lAspects of Advances in Rasch modelling
lAdvances in AI research with Rasch modelling
lLearning/teaching Assessment in diverse contexts
lScales and fairness in multilingual and multicultural settings
lInnovation and technology in measurement in diverse contexts
Presentation Formats
Paper Presentations
Each paper presentation will be given 15 minutes, followed by 5 minutes for Q & A.
Poster Presentations
Posters will be demonstrated through the conference time providing a platform for sharing work-in-progress, pilot studies, research design or innovative practices with significant results.
Poster presenters are expected to discuss their work with conference participants right in front of the poster.
Poster presenters are supposed to make their posters themselves, bring the ready-made posters on the site and install or paste the posters at the designated places. The poster size is confined within A1 paper size.
Penal Discussion
Penal discussion will share information regarding “Articles, Journals and Publications” and establish contact with interested participants. The discussion will include a moderator and a team of important publishers (Taylors & Francis, The AP/Springer Nature, and etc.). Total time allocation: 45 minutes.
