The Center for Teaching Quality Supervision and Assessment is a functional department in charge of the school’s teaching quality monitoring and evaluation under the leadership of the school principal. There are 5 full-time staff, including 3 with senior professional titles, and the director of the center is Professor Zhou Wengui.
The main responsibilities of the Center for Teaching Quality Supervision and Assessment are:
1. Responsible for building a teaching quality monitoring and evaluation system;
2. Responsible for the research and development of the index system for teaching quality evaluation (including majors, courses, teaching and learning);
3. Responsible for consultation, inspection, evaluation, analysis and evaluation of each teaching link;
4. Responsible for the analysis and feedback of the achievement of quality goals in each link of talent training;
5. Responsible for the identification and evaluation of teachers' teaching quality;
6. Responsible for organizing the selection of excellent teaching quality awards;
7. Responsible for the construction and management of the teaching supervision team;
8. Responsible for organizing and guiding the work of the student evaluation committee;
9. Responsible for inspecting and maintaining the school's teaching discipline;
10. Responsible for the collection, statistics, analysis and processing of basic data on the teaching status of the whole school; responsible for establishing the teaching quality information database;
11. Responsible for writing and publishing undergraduate teaching quality reports;
12. Assist in the completion of undergraduate teaching evaluation, professional evaluation and other various types of welcome evaluation work; assist in the construction of the teaching staff; assist in the construction of academic atmosphere;
13. Complete other tasks assigned by the school.
