The Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation
中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦的核心内容是国家富强、民族振兴、人民幸福；国家富强、民族振兴是人民幸福的基础和保障;人民幸福是国家富强、民族振兴的题中之义和必然要求；人民幸福是国家富强、民族振兴的根本出发点和落脚点。
The core of the Chinese Dream for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is the prosperity and rejuvenation of the country and the happiness of the people. Prosperity and rejuvenation are the basis and guarantee of people’s happiness. Happiness is the fundamental goal and inevitable requirement for prosperity and rejuvenation. It is also the starting point and ultimate goal for prosperity and rejuvenation.
“两个一百年”奋斗目标
Two Centenary Goals
“中国梦”的核心目标可以概括为“两个一百年”的目标，也就是：到2021年中国共产党成立100周年和2049年中华人民共和国成立100周年时，逐步并最终顺利实现中华民族的伟大复兴。
The core goal of the “Chinese Dream” can be summarized as the “Two Centenary Goals”, which are: to gradually and ultimately achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation by the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China in 2021 and the centenary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 2049.
中国梦的提出，正显示出当代中国人对历史的自信，对现在的自信和对未来的自信。以接地气的勇气和信心，凸显出一个华夏民族承前启后、继往开来的决心和开拓之心。它是鼓舞人心的，它是催人奋进的，它在历史的长河中，又将掀起新的壮阔篇章，拉开新的序幕。
The proposal of the Chinese Dream shows the contemporary Chinese’s confidence in history, the present, and the future. With down-to-earth courage and confidence, it highlights the determination and pioneering heart of a Chinese nation to carry forward the past and forge ahead into the future. It is inspiring, and it will open a new magnificent chapter and a new prelude in the long river of history.
新时代发展历史
New History
2012年11月29日，中共中央总书记习近平在国家博物馆参观“复兴之路”展览时，第一次阐释了中国梦的概念。他表示，实现中华民族伟大复兴，就是中华民族近代以来最伟大的梦想。此后，“中国梦”成为一个人尽皆知的流行热词。
On November 29, 2012, General Secretary Xi Jinping, visited the “Road to Rejuvenation” exhibition at the National Museum and first elaborated on the concept of the Chinese Dream. He stated that the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is the greatest dream of the Chinese nation since modern times. Since then, the term “Chinese Dream” has become a household phrase.
2013年3月17日，习总书记在第十二届全国人民代表大会第一次会议上的讲话中进一步阐释了中国梦的本质内涵及其实现条件。他指出，实现全面建成小康社会、建成富强民主文明和谐的社会主义现代化国家的奋斗目标，实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦，就是要实现国家富强、民族振兴、人民幸福。
On March 17, 2013, General Secretary Xi further elaborated on the essential connotation and conditions for realizing the Chinese Dream in his speech at the First Session of the 12th National People’s Congress. He pointed out that to achieve the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects, building a socialist modernized country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, and harmonious, as well as realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, it is necessary to achieve national prosperity, national rejuvenation, and people’s happiness.
2018年12月18日，习近平总书记在庆祝改革开放40周年大会上指出。“党的十九大对我国发展提出了更高的奋斗目标，形成了从全面建成小康社会到基本实现现代化、再到全面建成社会主义现代化强国的战略安排，发出了实现中华民族伟大复兴中国梦的最强音。”
On December 18, 2018, General Secretary Xi pointed out at the conference celebrating the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up that “the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has put forward a higher goal for the development of China, forming a strategic arrangement from building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects to basically realizing modernization, and then to comprehensively building a socialist modernized strong country, sounding the strongest call for realizing the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.”
习近平总书记在二十届中共中央政治局常委同中外记者见面会上提出，“经过全党全国各族人民共同努力，我们如期全面建成小康社会、实现了第一个百年奋斗目标。现在，我们正意气风发迈上全面建设社会主义现代化国家新征程，向第二个百年奋斗目标进军，以中国式现代化全面推进中华民族伟大复兴。”
General Secretary Xi proposed at the 20th Central Political Bureau Standing Committee’s meeting with Chinese and foreign journalists that “through the common efforts of the whole Party and people of all ethnic groups across the country, we have achieved the first centenary goal by comprehensively building a moderately prosperous society as scheduled. Now, we are full of confidence to embark on a new journey of building a socialist modernized country in all respects, marching towards the second centenary goal, and promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through Chinese-style modernization.”
使命与担当
Mission and Responsibility
21世纪的青年学生肩负着实现中华民族伟大复兴的历史使命，我校各级党团组织广泛组织师生观看《榜样7》专题节目，并在学校掀起向榜样学习的热潮，坚定不移跟党走，以实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦为己任，自觉扛起时代赋予新一代大学生的使命与担当。
In the 21st century, young students shoulder the historical mission of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The CPC and Youth League organizations of our university have extensively organized teachers and students to watch the special program “Role Models 7” and set off a wave of learning from role models, firmly following the Party, taking as their own task to realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and consciously shouldering the mission and responsibility endowed by the times to the new generation of university students.
《榜样7》展示了全国优秀共产党员、优秀党务工作者和先进党组织的典型事例。他们在自己平凡的工作岗位上，做出了不平凡事情，彰显着坚定的理想信念、扎实的工作作风，淋漓尽致地体现一名共产党员的责任与担当。
“Role Models 7” showcases typical examples of outstanding Communist Party members, excellent party workers, and party organizations across the country. They have done extraordinary things in their ordinary positions, demonstrating firm ideals and beliefs and solid work style, fully embodying the responsibility and responsibility of a Communist Party member.

实现中华民族伟大复兴，就是中华民族近代以来最伟大的梦想。这个梦想，凝聚了几代中国人的夙愿，体现了中华民族和中国人民的整体利益，是每一个中华儿女的共同期盼。青年强则国兴，青年强则国强。我们可以看到全国青年学子高举中国特色社会主义伟大旗帜，自觉扛起时代赋予新一代大学生的使命与担当，不负青春，不负时代，不负韶华。
To achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is the greatest dream of the Chinese people since modern times. This dream embodies the long-cherished aspirations of several generations of Chinese, reflects the overall interests of the Chinese nation and the people, and is the common aspiration of every Chinese. The youth is the hope of the nation’s prosperity, and their strength promotes national development. We can see that young students across the country hold high the banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, consciously shoulder the mission and responsibilities entrusted to the new generation of college students by the era, and live up to their youth, the times, and the prime of life.
